How does it work?
We will have a brief pre appointment phone call to discuss your project to ensure that we make the best use of the time when I visit you.
During the 90-minute visit I would like you to show me some of your home (not just the room we are working with) to give me an idea of your style, likes and dislikes. The meeting will be recorded as taking notes can be counterproductive.
We can then move on and focus on the areas that you are struggling with. I can answer any specific questions that you have prepared for me so that I can give you plenty of ideas and next steps for you to follow to achieve your vision.
Because there is a time limit for this consultation, we both need to be prepared to make the most of every minute we have.

Here is a list outlining how you should prepare for our meeting.
State your goals Think about the purpose of the space we will be discussing, how you and your family want to use it as well as the look and feel you want to achieve. Envision your ideal result and then gather some example images of the look you are trying to achieve.
Make a list Starting with your most pressing issue and then continue with more items needing to be improved in order of how urgent they are. During the consultation we will address the items in your list from the top down.
Think about your scope I will of course come up with ideas and suggestions but these need to be based on your budget and the amount of work you foresee. Are you considering a total change or working around what you already have?
Colour Schemes If you need advice on paint, wallpaper, or flooring, please let me know beforehand, so I can bring a selection for you to look at.

Case Study Living Room Refresh Surrey
My client hardly used her living room as it felt dark and uninviting, although she had a limited budget, she wanted to brighten it up and have some ideas that, when funds allowed, she could put into action. This is a snapshot of some of my suggestions with before and after photos. She decided to add on the mood board option, so she had something visual she could refer to over time to inspire her.

“Can’t thank Claire enough for her amazing design advise. I am generally creative but was struggling with how to make my lounge / diner better. It had started to feel old and tired, it lacked warmth and style and so we stopped using it so much. I was stuck and without a huge budget I had to keep certain features and furnishings. We discussed issues and desires, moved furniture and came up with some solutions. The next day I received my mood board of ideas that I could do myself, new colours, lights, blinds, sofa covers etc on top of the new layout.
